Battery Holder | 2025 | Created using AutoCAD, CNC Machine, Mill I was tasked with creating a lightweight, slim object which would hold our FRC Robot's battery still. I designed a holder that'd fit around the battery with .125 inch of freedom. It has 4 screw holes and spacers designed to elevate the holder above any wiring. Rectangular cuts were made to allow for a velcro strap. This project taught me how to take accurate measures of objects in real life and transfer that into CAD. I also learned how to use the CNC machine.
